About a month or two ago, I was listening on NPR,WAMU, or CSPAN
(Washington DC) on the radio, and that was a Congressional committee
hearing in progress. A couple of Senators where questioning patients
that had actually received some treatement (I'm not sure if adult stem
cells or something similar) and they had remarkable stories of
incredible results.
One gentleman has Parkinsons disease, and had received treatment for
it. He just all together stopped from shaking, and was able to get
back to work as a photographer the Safari. His doctors saying
remarking that they would not have guess he had the disease.
Another young woman was paralyzed from the chest down in a accident,
and she had received some treatment that enabled her to use a walker
without assistance. More remarkable, she was able to some feeling
back in her feet and continued to progress ahead.
I've wanting to get a transcript or at least an article that referred
to this hearing. I mention this to friends and family, and no one
seems to believe me about these clinical trials.
I suspect these patients did not get treated here in the U.S. but they
were of course, Americans. Can someone help me find this? Thanks. |
