For some reason, Logitech and Microsoft drivers for their multi-button
mouse have become progressively worse. They appear to be *removing*
functionalities in each new release.

Is there a generic mouse driver that allows me to program a
multi-button mouse? For people who also use Macs, I'm basically
looking for something akin to USB Overdrive for XP. The two features
that I can't live without are per-application settings and keyboard
emulation.

Thanks.
