Looking for relatively specific info, actually. Did Ann Revere testify
(or refuse to testify) against alleged Communists in the film
industry? What was her participation in the hearings, if any? I
believe she was blacklisted, but would like to know more details.

Yes, I'm sorry. Pinkfreud is right - I meant ANNE REVERE. And, in
fact, the link Pink provides touches briefly on the "testifying"
issue, although that mini-bio also says she won an Oscar for
Gentleman's Agreement and that's not true, so other sources would be
preferred to answer my original question. Thanks.
