I'm looking for a breakdown of the flow of money for a typical jazz or
classical CD for a solo artist (e.g., solo pianist). What are the
typical sales numbers? What's the cost of getting it to market
(artist fees, production, distribution, marketing, profit)? How does
the money flow back from each sale? What's the typical return for the
label, over what time period?
