Can you tell me about the "Midas Touch" betting system, it is a betting system used in even money bets developed by a man called Bruce Irwin in 1962. I heard that it was reviewed in the Las Vegas Review Magazine around about 1962. It applies to all even money bets, apparently he was pretty smart. I have only heard talk of it. Some resources are: VIP gambling site which address is http:||gambling.projectssydney. "On October 15, 1962 he played against the IBM 1620 calculating machine, which was programmed for blackjack, with a group of mathematicians as a audience. He successfully won a paper profit of $794.00 at the conclusion of five individual games. The author has appeared on many television and radio shows to demonstrate this amazing method, and has taken a group of twelve people to Grand Bahama Island for an all-expense-paid five day gaming holiday which proved successful. In march 1962 Mr Irwins book, "The Midas Touch - Your Key To Casino Cash" was published (no longer in print). In October of that year he was barred from Las Vegas for winning consistently" Also the roulette extreme web site may be able to assist you if anybody knows they may. They make software to test roulette systems and would be a good resource. On there web site if you are a member they have various systems that they have written projects for testing. www.uxsoftware.com is their address. roulette and most other casino games are mathematically impossible to beat in the long run in an honest game. each spin is independent of all other spins and each spin has an intrinsic house advantage. no system can refute this. you have a chance at poker since money does exchange hands from player to player beyond the house rake. just my advice, good luck |

I love the myth that people have been barred from casinos ... Years ago, I knew a casino owner and I asked him what his biggest problem was in running the joint. He said, hiding away the money that they had taken away from the punters. If they had left it on the tables, the punters could have seen how much they were losing and they may have become discouraged. Hence, it is always tucked away 'for security purposes'. The tragedy is that when people do win, they invariably gamble it away in the search for more. |

It is mathmatically possible to turn the odds slightly in your favor when playing blackjack by counting cards. You have to count cards and stagger your bets greatly based on when the deck is in favor of you. Unfortunatly there are some problems with this. 1) The casinos Will kick you out for doing it 2) The odds are only slightly in your favor and only if you play perfectly. 3) It takes a long time/lot of bets for the results to normalize in your favor - you have to be ready to loose a lot before it evens out... |
