Run Anydvd and use shrink it to load the movie onto your computer.

You will need to download a few different pieces of software.
Download "DVDDecrypter" at www.dvddecrypter.com (it is free) .... this
will take the files off of your dvd and put them onto your computer's
hard drive.

Then, to burn the movie onto a backup dvd, you will need to put those
file into a format called an image file. Use "DVD Shrink" which you
can download (also for free) at www.dvdshrink.org ... this will create
a .ISO file (the image file) and it will also shrink/compress the
files on your hard drive (the files put there by dvd decrypter) so
that they fit onto 1 burnable dvd.

Then use your dvd burning software that came with your burner to burn
the .ISO file onto a blank dvd. You can also use "NERO burning
software", but you must pay for it.

There are a lot of step-by-step guides on how to use each piece of
software ... just search on the name of the software and the term
"guide".
