I am looking for a website design firm that has worked and designed an
office designers' website. An office designer is a person who does
everything from what furniture to buy to where to put lighting.
Similar to an interior designer but not quite. I do not want an
interior designers' website.

It would help if i knew where you were located. If you don't have any
webhosting yet i would contact the following company.

I am of the opinion, and others may disagree, that it makes no
difference WHO designs such a website. You find a decent web designer
and they can emulate any other website you like. For instance,
www.classythemes.com sells many, many Frontpage and HTML templates.
You buy one, you fill it in with your pictures and graphics, and you
load it up. Now, if you're talking about special features, then you
should learn what these are called before you contact a web designer.
Not all web designers will have the capabilities you might require,
and you might not require all the capabilities of a high-priced
designer.

I think your question will be more easily answered if you list some
webs that you like, and let the researchers find the designers for
you. Or learn the terminology for the features that you want by asking
questions about them, providing links to web pages that contain them,
etc.

I design websites. I designed www.hyannisportcapital.com ($900 did not
include the graphics work) and www.theofficeexperts.com (tho I don't
own it anymore, and the maintenance is terrible now),
www.doggiepro.com ($1000), www.vbaexpress.com (mine), and I'm working
on www.vbaexpress.com/ccw/ for a friend. But I know nothing about pet
products, industrial condominiums, or fabric art. And the fact that I
created those websites doesn't give me any additional experience in
creating *those* particular types of websites.

In my opinion, websites are very personal. They are representative of
the owner or company behind it. You could likely find any number of
website templates/themes at ClassyThemes (link above) that you like.
Then contact the person who designed it. Most or all of them do custom
work.

Bottom line is that I think you are making it more difficult than it
needs to be, and you'll probably ending up paying much more than you
need to. Then again, perhaps I'm just not a *corporate thinker*.

Oh, also, I personally absolutely love www.lunarpages.com. Their
customer service is second to none, and I have used many. For less
than $100 per year, I am extremely happy with the hosting, the
software provided, the space, unlimited emails, etc. I do NOT get any
money for saying so.

I wish you the best of luck!

I personally love http://www.spattersweb.net/. Kris, the owner, can
do just about anything you need done.
