Is there any proof otherwise? Has Michael Moore disappeared recently? Was Sean Penn murdered by secret government agents? As a non-American (who is BTW very critical of the current administration), I find this whole attitude very sad. I wouldn't say that the current administration or the American democracy in general are perfect. However, isn't this type of criticism going a bit too far? Bush might be the wrong leader (this is for the voters to decide), but he is hardly Castro, Pinochet, or Kim Jung Il (to mention but a few). Just for proportions: Bush might have waged a war on Iraq, and this decision could be criticised, but the person he had ousted is responsible for a Genocide. |
