I need to calculate the positions of the two points in the sky where
the Moon's path crosses the solar ecliptic - also known as Rahu and
Ketu in Eastern astrology. Although this information is available in
many astrology programs, I need to be able to download this
position data into a spreadsheet for various positions and times -
therefore standalone astrology programs are of no use.

I need to know where I can download this data OR how
to calculate these nodal positions directly with reasonable precision. If I
had the formulas, I could program it in VBA. There
is a free Swiss Ephemeris available online (Type in Swiss Ephemeris
and you will see several sources), but unfortunately I do not know C
or C++
so I don't know how to implement it.

I would like to know the source of downloadable (to Excel) data
for Rahu and Ketu or to have the formulas so that I can write a
program in VBA.
