I want to know how does a special assay can be put inside a test tube
that has many proteins, but can detect a protein of interest. Please
answer.

you would have to know something about the protein of interest. if you
do, then you can design an antibody conjugated to a FLAG which can
then be pulled out with a anti-FLAG antibody (a sandwich assay)
