The Dallas Central Appraisal District (DCAD) is responsible for appraising property for the purpose of ad valorem property tax assessment on behalf of the 51 local governing bodies in Dallas County and parts of the six surrounding counties. The appraisal district is a political subdivision of the State of Texas. Our duties include establishing and maintaining accurate property values for all real and business personal property. http://www.dallascad.org/ To obtain an estimated value of a property in Dallas you may: Search by owner name http://www.dallascad.org/SearchOwner.aspx Search by address http://www.dallascad.org/SearchAddr.aspx Search by business name http://www.dallascad.org/SearchBiz.aspx Search terms used: Texas "Assessors office" Dallas"Assessors office" Assessment Jurisdictions Sorted By State http://www.waao.org/assessorwebs.htm If anything is unclear with my answer, please ask for clarification.
