Am in search of a template I can put on my web page that would show
fund raising progress, one in the shape of a thermometer that shows
dollar increments. |

Yes, that's what I'm after. I'll check with my server, bizland.com,
and get back to you. Thanks.

Just recd following response from my server:
"We do support PHP and the GD Image Library. The current PHP version running
on BizLand's servers is PHP 4.3.3. Newer versions may be installed as they
become available."
So, please make your comment your answer.

I use MS Front Page. What are the mechanics of inserting the long
script shown in arkie.net? Exactly where would I insert it to position
the graphic where I want it?

Dreamboat,
That's interesting, because bizland.com has never mentioned an
incompatibiility between FP and .php scripts. In fact, their techie
wrote me that both FP and .php extentions are enabled at the server.
Just recd another message from them this morning, indicating my
question has been escalated to the next support tier. We'll now wait
and see what he or she has to say. Thanks for your offer. Will get
back to you.

Dreamboat:
Although my server, bizland.com, was successful in posting a .php
script thermometer on my site, I don't like the resultant image.
Please see following:
Hello,
I am writing to let you know that your ticket # 40863 has been
resolved. We thank you for your patience during this delay.
"GD" graphic library comes as default with our PHP version. I was able
to reproduce the thermometer image as shows this link:
http://blake57.bizland.com/testthermo.html. You may refer the above
link for its functionality.
The page above calls a PHP script by name ?thermtest.php? which uses
GD graphic library.
It seems that you have changed the ?thermometer.php? script and that
is the reason why the image is not showing up in the html page. This
is a coding error. Please check your coding to resolve this issue.
Thank you again for your patience, and please let us know if we may
assist you further in any way.
Sincerely,
Krishnamurthy

So, if you're still agreeable, I would like to have a thermometer
that's six inches high and an inch wide, with a scale in $5000
increments 1/4" apart. Thanks!
