Can Expiry Dates of GA Questions be changed? Currently, a Question expires one month (ie. 30 days) after it is opened. While Questions can be clarified, and parameters such as price offered can be modified, and Questions can be canceled (i.e. expired immediately) there appears to be no way to extend a Question's expiry date. Or is there? |

Hi grthumongous, When Google Answers first began in April 2002, askers were able to specify how long they wanted their questions to remain open for answers. At the end of 2002, the editors changed this policy to a 30-day expiration period. Since the change, all questions not answered within the 30-day period of being posted, expired automatically. In answer to your question, there is no way for the asker to extend the expiry date. However, once the question expires, the asker is able to repost the same question again for 30 more days, and continue in this manner for as long as the asker wants. Search strategy: Personal knowledge I hope this helps. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask and I will do my best to assist you. Best wishes, Rainbow |
