I would like to try and find out some history of my house. There is an
out house at the end of my garden (which has a chimney) and I am
really curious to find out what it used to be used for?. Plus if there
are any photos of it in its earlier life.
My address is 8 Denmark Road, Aylestone Leicester LE2 8AB

Some (all ?) of the households in Denmark Road, Aylestone, as
mentioned in the 1881 British Census (however, no numbers):

Of course, the road may have been renamed since 1881.

Denmark Road, Aylestone, also mentioned here ("Cricket in the British
Isles 1881 census"):

Dear godsquad,
In addition to the above comment, I recommend a visit to the
Leicestershire Record Office.
http://www.leics.gov.uk/index/community/museums/record_office.htm
Have a look at the Victorian 25" Ordnance Survey Map for your street.
There may be earlier maps. Have a look at the other census returns.
Try the rate books. There are often many photographs in their
collections. There are many other sources, and in my experience, most
record office staff are very helpful and will guide you.
Good luck.
