Since my explanation is long, I will preface this with my summary
answer: the irsweb.com website cannot be found because the listed
domain name servers cannot properly resolve the domain name irsweb.com
to the web server the content resides upon. This is a domain name
server issue, meaning that, unless you or somebody else knows the IP
address for irsweb.com, there is nothing that you (or anybody) can do
from your side to see this site if it still exists. However, it is
possible that the problem may be resolved sometime in the future. A
copy of this site from January 22, 2004 has been preserved by the
"Wayback Machine" internet archive, and can be viewed at
http://web.archive.org/web/20040122092433/http://irsweb.com/ , but
this may not contain all of the information that was previously
available.

The first thing I suspect when looking for a website has disappeared
is whether or not the domain name registration has expired. If this
happens, requests to the domain name (in this case, irsweb.com) will
not longer be routed to the proper hosting server. In this case, one
could try to find the IP address of this site and view it in this
manner.

The next thing I check is whether or not the DNS name is resolving

Basically, the link between the domain name and the hosting server has
been broken, leaving us with no way to determine which of the millions
and millions of web servers in existance is the one which hosts the
irsweb.com site.

We can see that there are a lot of problems with trying to resolve
this domain name, particularly with the domain name resolution
servers. So, if the site still exists, the only way to find it would

website has a tool for this purpose that scans over 40 different cache
