how do I get the answer to equal 12 by using only four off number fives? |

Hi kevjmac, I'm assuming your question is how to get the answer to equal 12 by using the number 5 four times. Here's how: 5 * 5 * .5 - .5 = 12 Here's step by step: 5 * 5 = 25 25 * .5 = 12.5 12.5 - .5 = 12 I hope that helps. It seems to me that 55-5*5-5 =25 is more elegant. |

(5+55)/5=12 I'm not sure the decimal point is legal. |
