Hello, I have an ecommerce website that sells funny tee shirts. I
can't seem to get a decent page rank in any of the major engines or
directories.

From what I?ve read, email safe lists and ezine advertising is the way
to go. However, I?m not marketing expert so I don?t know if that is in
fact the case.

Furthermore, the Internet is chock full of sites that make promises. I
just don?t know whom I should trust in regards to giving them my money
to get my message out there.

My questions are:
1.	Can someone please recommend a reportable place to go for email
safe lists and ezine advertising that I may see some decent results
in?
2.	Can someone please recommend a reportable place to go to get more
banners out there on decent websites (not so much a banner exchange
program)?
3.	Can someone please recommend a reportable place to go for
(consultant etc.) for SEO?

Thanks for any assistance.

As a VP of Marketing for a major credit card payment firm, I can
answer your questions with the greatest confidence.

1. Email safe lists: There is no such thing as an email safe list.
There are email providers like Yesmail.com, postmasterdirect.com and
other that adhere to the strictest standards for email marketing.
They are very good sources to review but come at a cost. The lowest
amount these organizations will take for an email campaign is 5K. In
addition, your site could be shut down by your hosting company if any
complaints occur. Email marketing is good with the budget and correct
partner.

2. This are several publishers online that do banner ads on a cost per
click basis. You are only charged when someone clicks on your banner.
 These companies are: Valueclick.com, Kazaa.com, Advertising.com (self
service model). These companies all require a different budget to
begin but with some negotition, you can get a test for a couple
hundred dollars.

3. SEO is a term and service that is hard to find a good
organization. No ones guarantees their results and the normal time to
see some traffic is 3-6 months. Normal costs per month can range from
$1,000-$10,000 (no performance guarantees). I found a company
keywordranking.com that has a performance guarantee but the monthly
fee is $1,300. My suggestion is to try cost per click search engine
campaigns that allow you to limit your spend per day and cost per
click.
