We have a retreat center in North Carolina. Our demographic is
facilitators and retreat organizers: church groups, meditation
retreats, spiritual and personal growth retreat leaders, etc. It is
possible to identify individual prospects from pulling names from the
Omega Catalog or calendar listings from other retreat centers, but
this is very inefficient. It's also possible to rent subscriber lists
from Yoga Journal, meditation magazines, etc., but this is very
non-targeted and expensive. We have done a good job of listing our
facility on directories, so someone actively looking on the web can
find us. But, we want to find them as well. Our site is
http://bendofivylodge.com
How can we efficiently locate lists of potential facility renters:
individuals who would be interested in renting a facility for multiple
night retreats, preferably for several times a year? |

Hi... sorry for the delayed response... have been travelling a lot...
Actually, the churches and religious organizations answer wouldn't be
that helpful. The challenge for us is that the target audience
(facilitators who would lead a workshop here) are pretty disseminated.
It's really individuals, rather than organizations, that we'd want to
reach. Omega Institute, in Rhinebeck, NY, is an example of a place
that has the kinds of workshops we'd want to attract. The problem is
to find an efficient means of gathering contact information for lots
of people like those who lead workshops there. I'd like to find a way
to get 500-1500 names (not that the answer would consist of the
names... the answer would be the means to find the names efficiently.)
Hopefully this clarifies... Thanks for asking.
