Both of my parents have Dual Citizenship ( Canada & US ). The former
due to birthright with both parents and the latter from both having a
parent born in the US. They received their US Citizenship in and
around the mid to late 1980's as they became aware of a circumstance
that allowed them both US Citzenship based upon their birthyear (1935
& 1936) and each having a parent born in the US. I beleieve that loop
hole has since been closed. My 2 part question is do I have any
entitlement to US citizenship based upon my parents US Citizenship?
If I don't have entitlement, is there a way that my parents situation
can help me procur US Citizenship ie. as an employee or director of a
US company they own in the US. I was born in Canada.

Hi vmcanada,

I have personal experience in dealing with US citizenship issues and
will do my best to help you as much as I can.

First there are a few things I need to know.

*Were either of your parents residing in the US prior do your birth?

*Do you now live in the US? And if so, how long have you been there
and under what circumstances, ie. married, green card, etc...?

*How old are you?

Waiting to hear from you.

Best regards,
Rainbow
