Thank you for getting back to me so soon! Assuming that this was a
hand-drawn version of the logo... how can I begin searching for fonts
on my own... what would be the best way to go about finding the font
names for everyday things I see??

Hi humeshua,

I find the best way to go about searching for a certain font is by
using a site like IdentiFont:

"Welcome to Identifont, the unique font identifier that enables you to
identify a font from a sample by answering a series of simple
questions. It is ideal if you want to match an existing typeface, or
identify a typeface you have seen in a publication."

"Identify a typeface by answering a series of simple questions about key features.
You may find it helpful to use a magnifying glass or hand lens if the
text size is small.
If you make a mistake, you can use your browser's Back button to
correct your answer to an earlier question.
If you have a restricted set of letters use the Identify specific letters option."

Howdy humeshua-ga,

For whatever it is worth, there probably isn't a font that could be associated
with the sign lettering. It appears to be a sign maker's modified version of
the familiar Paramount logo, which was probably just a drawing in the start,
way back in 1920s or so.

Hi humeshua,

I'm sorry you were not totally satisfied with my research. However, I
must explain that I based my research on your clarification, after
acknowledging that this font was a font created for the company
itself, which my colleague denco-ga explained in his comment.

Therefore, I researched ways for you to search for fonts on your own
and ways to find the font names for everyday things you see.

Best wishes,
Rainbow
