I have a product idea for an addin for Salesforce.com. I need to do
market research for the idea but I do not know anybody that uses it.
;) I do know that Salesforce.com is very busy and has a lot of
clients.

How would I find out if my product is marketable? 

I'm looking for an answer that is specific to Salesforce.com, not an
answer to general marketing research.

I am a CRM expert and have vast knowledge of all major CRM
applications including: Salesforce, Frontrange (Goldmine), ACT, Siebel
and custom applications.

Salesforce.com will not directly answer questions in regards to
addins.  You will need to review their product offering (3 types) and
reviews the features for each.  If you give me a general idea of the
service, I can let you know if this feature is available.
