Are birthdates not a matter of "public record"? All I am trying to
find is the day/month of someone's birth, but every site I come across
that claims to have such information demands that I purchase rather
expensive year-long membership.

If there are no free means of finding the birthdate of someone (born
fairly recently; 1970), will the sites I pay for "remember" who I've
searched?

I _have_ tried anybirthday.com, as well as the internet archive of
public records for the person's county of birth (which only holds
documents filed since 1988).

Hi there...

I can't help you but, from my own experience, I have an uncanny way of
finding out people's birthdays. For example, October 22 is the
birthday of an extremely well known and respected person right here on
this site!!!

Any private investigator can do the research for a minimal fee ($50-$100).
