We are looking for a credit card that rewards air miles with many
airlines. With a lot of airlines in financial trouble, we don't think
we should get an airline card for a particular airline eventhough we
plan to use Continental primarily to fly to our second home in Mexico.
We read your Aug. 3, 2004 answer for a similar question which
suggested Capital One Milestone Card and don't understand why you
would recommend it. The miles needed for a ticket (cost x 90) is not
cheap for most flights. With USAIR dividend miles you can fly anywhere
in the country for 20,000 miles and Mexico for 25,000 miles (some of
the year).
We would like a card with no blackout dates, seat confines,
international restrictions or hidden caps. APR is not a problem
because we pay off the balance. American Express could be a problem if
it is not accepted readily. We would value your advice for our best
options. |
