Question about the rules for becoming President/Prime Minister in
different countries. Is it true that a non-UK national can become UK
Prime Minister? Are there any residency requirements? What about
other countries? Which countries have had foreigners as prime
minister (I hear perhaps New Zealand)?
Thankyou

In the UK, other than age, the requirements are pretty much the same
as for being able to vote. You need to be a british citizen over the
age of 21 to stand for parliment. The Prime Minister is merely the
leader of the party with the most seats in the house of commons.
