since April. Base company large company driven by financial
performance. Four years out of bankrupcy. Strong desire to go back

Phew! So you were hired to manage a newly acquired business in CA
that had been purchased by the "base company." Either you were hired,
the CA company was acquired or both in April 2004. The base company
has been out of bankruptcy for four years. You were given
"unreasonable" performance objectives by the base company when they
hired you [in April] to run the acquired CA business. The newly
acquired business did not integrate well into the base company, and
the base company understood this. Nonetheless, either your company or
the base company or both were acquired by somebody else on September
20, 2004, and the new owner fired you today, presumably based on your
alleged "bad" performance in running the acquired company (the company
that the "base company" bought [in April 2004]). You are upset
because you feel you were fired wrongly and that you were doing a good
job running the CA company. Is that it?
