Give me recognized instances where the women's right to vote has improved the quality of American government. In other words, where has the influence of the female vote prevented the government from taking a wrong turn or where has it caused the government to make a correct choice rather than do nothing? All examples should be from a consistent perspective---either liberal or conservative. For example, from a liberal perspective, the women's vote has improved American government by (1) making abortion on demand available, (2) preventing President Clinton from being impeached, and (3) fostering mainstream acceptance of homosexuality. This ought to be really easy, so I'll offer $2.50 per example. Please include sources. |

Abortion rights have been controlled by the Supreme Court, not by voting. Kriswrite |

Yes, but judges are appointed by elected officials who hold or don't hold office based on the women's vote. |
