Question ID: 411963
Is there any websites, which on feeding chemical name provides details
about its molecular formula, process commonly used to make them
commercially, chemical reaction it goes through. If the site also
provides some names of manufacturer would be an advantage.

hfshaw-ga: Thanks for the comments.
Actually I am doing a survey on Chemical Industry to know the
different chemical manufactured by them and process used. Also I like
to see alternate manufacuring methods for same chemicals.

I am expecting website(s), where I could input the chemical name or
formula and it would show common method/process of manufacturing it
commercially with chemical formula.
I am increasing to $10 and better answer would yeild nice tip.

reaction, it is generally used to make product commercially.
Additional information would be more benificiary.

You don't specify what types of compounds (organic, inorganic, etc.)
you are interested in, but you can try the following websites.

For structure, formula, thermodynamic data and more, check out the
NIST Chemistry WebBook: http://webbook.nist.gov/chemistry/

http://www.chemindustry.com/chemicals/index.asp is another source for
information, and would be a starting place for finding suppliers.
This site also provides numerous links to other web-based chemical
resources.
