At which net address/es can I find up to date (2004), close-up(clearly
viewable houses) satellite photographs of Tours - a city in France?

I see both the 'good' guys and 'baddies'- on TV and at the movies -
connecting to satellite imagery sites; how come this question appears
to be so difficult?  I thought there were some genuinely talented
people out there!!

Thank you 'bestsearcher-ga', I tried all the sites you suggested but
none were satisfactory ....... that I was able to use anyway.
I should have said in my question, I am technologically challenged and
hence the need for someone to help me get what I'm after.

To see real detail you really should look for aerial rather than
satellite photography, that is taken from a 'plane rather than space.
Resolution of up to 6cm (pixel size) is now available for certain
places in the uk. Even average quality aerial photos are clear enough
to see road markings.
