Visible Results (This website does cover France)_ http://www.spaceimaging.com/ Aerodata International Surveys http://www.aerodata-surveys.com DigitalGlobe | An Imagery and Information Company http://www.digitalglobe.com Search terms used in Google Search: "satellite photos" "satellite photography" "satellite imagery" "satellite imaging" "aerial photos" "aerial photography" "aerial imagery" "aerial imaging" I hope you find this information useful! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me. I'll be glad to offer further assistance. Please request clarification if any of the links don't work for you. Thanks for your question. I see both the 'good' guys and 'baddies'- on TV and at the movies - connecting to satellite imagery sites; how come this question appears to be so difficult? I thought there were some genuinely talented people out there!! |

Thank you 'bestsearcher-ga', I tried all the sites you suggested but none were satisfactory ....... that I was able to use anyway. I should have said in my question, I am technologically challenged and hence the need for someone to help me get what I'm after. Again, thanks for your efforts. |

To see real detail you really should look for aerial rather than satellite photography, that is taken from a 'plane rather than space. Resolution of up to 6cm (pixel size) is now available for certain places in the uk. Even average quality aerial photos are clear enough to see road markings. For both current and also historical aerial photography try http://www.allmapping.com |
