At the bottom of this question is a list of events aimed at the
telecoms industry. My question is in four parts. Each part is priced
differently:
1. What is the relative profile of each of these events. A rough
tiering will be enough. Possible methodology might be a Google or
Copernic search to see how many references there are to each. $40
2. what events carry the most weight in the industry? A good index of
this might be to see how many newspaper articles are mention them:
this might be suggestive of interviews at the events, announcements
happening at those events, press releases timed to co-incide. Other
methods could include glancing at the website and scoring it for
sophistication, scoring the venue or looking for information about
exhibitors. $40
3. Which of these events are addressed by analysts at leading
"industry analyst" firms. Examples of these firms are Gartner,
Forrester Research, IDC (International Data Corporation), META Group,
Yankee Group, Ovum and Datamonitor. $60
4. Which of these events seems to have the highest number of
exhibitors that are suppliers or vendors of telecoms software,
services and hardware. $60

If you're really looking for a half-day turn around on this, you might
want to consider scaling it back (or dividing it up and posting
several discrete questions).

There's an awful lot here to wade through, even at the nice price
you're offering for the work.

Just a thought...
