The majority of the events listed near the top of the list are events that we
know something about. If the event listed is the event coordinator
instead of the actual event, I am looking for events that speak
specifically to the billing and support software, consulting or the
telecommunications market broadly.
Lower down the list are Customer Relationship Management and Customer
Care events: I don't know them as well. I am most interested in events
that cover CRM, outsourcing, customer care and to some extent
professional services.
I'm also interested in how those events are targeted: events that
speak solely to the software side might not be as appropriate as those
that examine operations, management, call centers, BPO (Business
Process Outsourcing), etc. Some events though (such as Speech Tek) are
interesting.
As you can imagine, I want the "biggest bang for our buck." So I want
to target events that garner significant analyst attendance, attract
the trade media, and lure representatives from telecoms companies and
firms that run call centers.
