Hello jtsw-ga,

Here are some ways you can add your blog URL to search engines.

The comment below has a great suggestion with the URL below.
http://tools.addme.com/servlet/s0new
-------------------------------------------------

There is also ...
http://www.wpromote.com/pledge.html
With a subscription you get your site submitted to multiple search
engines in 48 hours or less.
-------------------------------------------------

http://www.addpro.com/submit30.htm
Adds your site for free to 18 major search engines. With a
subscription, you get 120 search engines
-------------------------------------------------

And, last but not least, you get the "Add you site to Google" page.

(1) AddPro advises getting all keywords on your page -- on a blog,
does this mean post the keywords, or put them somewhere in the
template?

(2) AddPro advises "optimizing" my page after identifying keywords:
what is "optimizing" and does it apply to blogs?

(3) AddPro advises "put your most important kewyords as close to the
<BODY> tags as you can." What are these body tags -- in the template?
Can you direct me to a resource for adding such tags to the template?

(4) AddPro advises getting a high number of "quality" links to my site
(examples Dmoz and Yahoo). Should I "optimize" my site before
requesting lnks to Dmoz, Yahoo and Google?

Thanks

Hello Jtsw-ga,

Your questions about AddPro are good ones, but they are a bit beyond
the scope of the original question for the price listed.

You may want to post a new question to Google Answers asking about the
AddPro service.

You may wish to review the Google Answers pricing guidelines:

Sample Questions at Various Price Points
$2 - $5
· Can be answered with a single link or a single piece of
information. Sometimes, if a researcher is personally interested in
the question's subject, they may provide a longer answer.
· Not appropriate for multipart questions.

Hi,
Quite simply you need to "submit" the link of you blog to search engines.
The easiest way of doing this is
1) Load you blog and write down the URL in the address bar to it.
2) Go to http://tools.addme.com/servlet/s0new
3) Follow the directions in the form

This form will submit your blog to Subjex, Alexa, Scrub The Web, FAST
Search AllTheWeb, Google, LookSeek, Jayde, InfoTiger, NerdWorld,
Aeiwi, Walhello, LifeTips, and EntireWeb all for free!

Additionally, to increase the likelyhood of your blog showing up in
search engines, try to have as many of your friends sites link to your
blog as possible, this will increase its "ranking" in the search
engines.

Hope this answers you question.

Good Luck!
Baj
