It's very important to identify the context of what you're seeking. 
Even between the U.S. and the U.K., standards and laws are very
different.  For example, the Federal Trade Commission encourages
competitive comparisons whereas U.K. law prohibits them under
commercial slander laws.  And attitudes towards nudity are very
different in the two countries.
