Need a battery operated sound amplifier to boot my ipod volume when jogging

When I try to take a ipod or other mp3 player jogging the volume isn?t
loud enough for my $100 earphone (ER-6 Isolator Earphones) is there a
tiny battery operated device to boot the volume a bit?

There are many battery powered headphone amplifiers, designed just for
your needs.  One of the better quality companies out there is
'Headroom', with their AirHead and Total AirHead products.  Both run
on alkaline batteries, and would easily fit into a belt pouch with
your iPod.

However, at $150 to $200, those are rather expensive.  You can
