Question ID: 414271
I'm suffering from osteomyelitis of the maxillary sinus walls
including the floor of the orbit, and the nasal bone. I have already
undergone several surgeries and lately I had a surgery in which the
sinus was obliterated with the temporalis muscle and some titanium
plates were put to cover the defect produced. The open was a coronary
one, and in order to introduce the muscle, the zygoma was cut and a
titanium plate was put to close it again.
Since then I feel worse, and I have pains, swelling, heat, pressure,
breathing difficulties.I think the surgery was not right and was very
aggressive.
I think I need now a thourough surgery in which the bones including
the floor of the orbit should be taken away and a microvascular flap
should be put in place.
Since it's a very complicated sugery adn I had undegone already other
surgeries, I can not allow myself to do a new surgery , unless I find
an excellent and experienced surgery.
I would be ready to travel toEurope or to the United States, so I;ll
appreciate if you could recommend me the best surgeons for my case, in
Europe and in the States.

I want to explain what I meant by coronary open.. My intention was
that the incision for the surgery was a " coronal" incision, that is
an incision in the head , from ear to ear, more or less.
I need a surgeon who knows really well, how to do microvascular
surgery in this delicate area of the face.
