How many calories are in sushi? I'm trying to figure out how many
rolls I can order and stay within a particular calorie budget for
dinner.

I realize that the calorie content will vary depending on exactly what
is in the sushi. It also seems likely that there is a difference
between the tiny rolls whose outside is seaweed and the bigger hand
rolls whose outside is rice with fish on top. (I don't remember the
actual name of either roll type, which is definitely complicating my
search, inasmuch as Google does not yet read my mind or look at my
dinner plate.)

Please provide a sampling of calorie counts for "typical" six-piece
hand rolls of both types.

Another great source for calorie information is http://www.fitday.com

you can sign up for free, enter foods you've eaten (even create custom
foods) and enter your activites and see calories consumed (and from
what source,) and calories burned. Track your weight, etc.

good luck!

PS, you shuould really decide which answer is best for you, and
request that that researcher post it as an answer.
