can a dog catch hiv from a human if they ingest infected blood?

HIV is Human Immunodeficiency Virus, therefore, it only affects
humans.  There are other immunodeficiency viruses that affect cats,
such as Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), but they are of no risk
to humans.
