I saw a political cartoon somewhere and I can't remember where but it was the heads of the military - Army, Navy, etc. waiting outside the oval office to talk with the president and the secretary leans over her desk and says "he's in conference now" a few minutes passes, the door to the oval office opens and outs walks Bush's Scottish Terrier, Barney and the secretary says to the men - "ok you can go in now" Obviously indicating that the president was conferencing with the dog. |

WINNER: Aussie political cartoon of the year:
Reporter with microphone to one of Bush's right hand men, i.e
Defence secretary or someone like that. " But how do you know they
have weapons of mass destruction"?? Defense secretary: We kept
copies of the receipts!!
THEN;
South American Right wing junta foot soldier Rata tat tat, rattta tat tat
( the retort from his machinegun). Suddenly he stops!! U.S Four
star general at his side and watching looks puzzled and says, "Why did
you stop"
Foot Soldier: "I run out of humanitarian aid"
Unfair perhaps but thats the sort of political cartons you will see
in non-US papers. |
