My question is based on the following information. "When Astronomers probe the deepest regions of space they are actually looking back in time. This is simply because of the finite speed of light. Light moves at the speed of 300,000,000 meters/second (186,000 Miles/second)." http://www.windows.ucar.edu/tour/link=/the_universe/Lookback.html&edu=high Therefore, with the right telescope and the right position from Earth, could I view past events on Earth? For example, could I witness myself as a child? I am currently 26 years old. Would another object likely obstruct my line of sight? |
