Hi! I don't think you need to build a cable. According to your manual, the monitor has a standard 15-pin connection on the back: http://www.necmitsubishi.com/corpus/N/L/DPro900_manual.pdf Although the manual refers to a DB9-15P cable, the standard cable would be DB15-DB15. Here are some options: (a 9-15 would be to connect a very old computer) http://www.startech.com/ststore/itemlist.cfm?category=C30200&topbar=topbarc.htm http://catalog.belkin.com/IWCatSectionView.process?IWAction=Load&Merchant_Id=&Section_Id=16 http://www.cablesbyacc.com/catalog3lvl.cfm?product=ACMVGA&category=Video%20Cables You should need a male to male cable. Thanks for asking! sparky4ca-ga |

It's a standard Canon D-Sub High Density 15 pin connector. There are many varieties in mount style, wiring style, and overall quality. Check this Allied catalog page for a list of some. http://www.alliedelec.com/catalog/pf.asp?FN=116.pdf Part 512-0252 is the connector on most monitor cables. You'll need the pins to insert into the connector. For a simple route you can buy them from Radio Shack part # 276-1501 for $1.89 at www.radioshack.com - natch |
