Howdy applecore-ga,

The TLab404 page has some easy to follow instructions on taking care of
your problem. I have rewritten it for clarity and correctness.
http://v2.tlab404.com/articles/detail.asp?iFaq=418&iType=18

"Article: How to Remove My eBooks Folder?"

- Go to "My Computer"
- Go to the "C:" drive
- Go to the "Program Files" folder
- Go to the "Adobe" folder
- Go to the "Acrobat 6.0" folder
- Go to the "Reader" folder
- Go to the "plug_ins" folder
- Locate the "ebook.api" file and "right click" on it
- Left click on "Cut"
- Go back up one folder level
- Go to the "Optional" folder
- Do a right click
- Left click on "Paste"

You can now go to your "My Documents" folder and delete the "My eBooks"
folder. If you want to use the eBooks functionality in the future, you
will want to reverse the process and move the ebook.api file back into
the plug_ins folder.

If you need any clarification, feel free to ask.

Search strategy:

Google search on: delete "my eBooks"

I appreciate your quickness! My 2min of google searching didn't turn
this up, just a link to 'experts-exchange'. Now, anyone at 'answers'
will find it. Thanks.
