Is $20 what you would charge as a researcher to offer your client's
that kind of information? ... JUST KIDDING! I don't have any market
stats handy for you, but I'm in the market offering similar services
in Tampa and Boston. Things are tough right now. Lots of unemployed
marketers offering quality services at bargain prices just to pay the
bills. Check out elance for an idea of how many folks are offering
similar services, then check out their rates they are bidding online.

My suggested solution: Local service with a huge commitment to quality
and over the top personal service. Constantly over deliver, and the
referrals will come too. Testimonials help greatly. (Get those first
few good customers and give them a lot to talk about.)

I wish you a ton of success... (Don't listen to ANY nay-say types.
They'll bring you down before you get started. Keep focused, and
execute.)

Hi Margi

That's great thank you! Actually, it is an existing marketing strategy
business that is doing, so well that I am merging my company with a
market research organisation to help deliver more successfully. I know
that market strategists are the worst when it comes to researching
their own industry and that is what I thought I would do.

I am in the UK so not familiar with elance - do you mean elance.com?

By the way, I am looking for contributers to my marketing newsletter
which has an ever frowing audience - would love a contribution from
you if you are interested.

Kind regards

Max
