No one ever gave me a corsage for homecoming, but I would have loved
it if someone had.

I remember enjoying wrist corsages. They didn't get smashed when dancing!

Yes, get your date a corsage!

Hi Hihat,

Depends .. do ya genuinely like the girl .. or is she just someone who
has a handbag that you are going to end up minding for the night
whilst she dances with others?

Of course, present her with a corsage .. plus anything else to make
her feel special, make her stand out from the crowd .. not too
outlandish .. personal, yet obvious .. particularly to her girlfriends
.. you will be the sought after stud .. are ya gonna see her home? ..
a small bouquet .. better still EVERLASTING flowers to offer to her
mother .. a permanent reminder of "that nice fellow" .. plus a brief
personalised note the following day .. hand delivered to her mail box
..

Don't bother buying her father ANYTHING .. fathers don't trust "boys".
But the note to Mr. and Mrs. will go down well, provided that you
really are genuine.

If it's just a matter of course, don't waste your bucks beyond a corsage.

Phil

p.s. Pink .. Pink .. where for art thou .. surely many a young man has
crooned and swooned your youth!
