I need to recruit and high level software architect in SF Bay Area and
am looking for a list of mailing list, news groups, online forums,
online job services, etc that are a good choice for this kind of
posting.

The ideal answer will include with each item some indication how
popular it is as for my target audiance ans the cost of posting a
message and should include both free and per fee services.

I am already aware of Craigs (per free), Monster (per fee), Dice (per
fee) and ba.jobs (news group, free).

Who is your target audience??
I know several high-level software architects in your area.
But WHAT will they be working with? An Office application? VB? Dot-Net?
