I have a PEG-T665C and a PEG-TG50. I only have the install CD of the PEG-TG50. I intend to use one PC (my Dell Latitude D600 laptop running Win/XP Professional Edition) to Hotsync with these two PDAs with two different User names. The PEG-TG50 can Hotsync via both Infrared and USB. But the PEG-T665C can only Hotsync via Infrared. I installed the USB driver obtained from the Sony support center, which got me to the point that the PC can recognize the Sony Palmtop device alright. But after a few seconds, the error 'The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. ...' is displayed on the T665C. Nothing happened on the desktop. I would like to be able to manage both PDAs using the same TG50 software. Please advise how I can do that. By the way, I still have the T665C software installed in another laptop computer that I will soon need to discontinue. While I don't have the T665C installation CD any more, I may be able to copy things from that laptop if specific name/location of the files is provided. |
