After watching every single presidential candidate debates as well as
vice presidential debates, I have drawn up a few questions that I am
still pondering on answers for. Who are Americans? Looking at it one
might say, "a diverse culture", but what is the meaning of being an
American and who are they. How do Americans make political decisions
in the private sector? This question has been in the back of my mind
for some time now. How do Americans make public policy through the
institutions of government? So what I am asking is how exactly do we
get involved in forming the foundation of public laws. What ideas
shape American politics? I have a few opinions, but I wouldn't mind
knowing who exactly thinks of ideas to shape the USA's politics.
America has been said to be a free society. So what exactly is the
constitutional framework of a free society? And the last thing that
has been going back and forth through different conclusions is, what
is the role of taxation nationally?
Many of these questions will help not only with my knowledge of
politics, but also in choosing who I am to vote for come November 2nd. |
