During the late-nineties stock market boom, many internet companies were founded. Roughly, how many of these were founded by businesspeople, as compared to how many were founded by computer scientists/engineers? Was there a relationship between a company's later success and whether it was founded by an MBA-type vs. a scientist-type? What about the current boom in biotech companies: more MBA-types founding them or more scientists? Which have better prospects, if either? I am more interested in the citations/references required to answer the question than the actual answer.... |
