I am after a particular cartoon (was it by Larson?) of a man talking to his dog. The words spoken by the man are all heard by the dog as "woof woof" (I think) except for the word "food" which the dog understands perfectly!

Here you'll find the Larson cartoon that you're looking for: Personal Pages of Gerry Leone http://home.earthlink.net/~grleone/funny/farside.htm If you want to be able to view the cartoon in the future, you may want to save a copy of it to your hard drive; it came from a personal page, and it may not stay there forever. My strategy in locating the cartoon was simple. I thought I remembered that the dog was named Ginger, so I went to Google Image Search and used the search terms "ginger" and "far side." Google Image Search: ginger far side http://images.google.com/images?svnum=100&hl=en&newwindow=1&c2coff=1&safe=off&q=ginger+far+side&spell=1 I'm glad to have been able to help, since I am a devoted "Far Side" fan. Please let me know if the link doesn't work, and I'll see whether I can find some other way for you to see the cartoon. Best regards, pinkfreud
