How can I remove netspry.com which is curnently "attached" to my
Google search engine and to Yahoo.com and Norton Utilities? I have
disabled Spyblocker and Spysweeper because they may conflict with
Norton programs. I have Windows Security Alerts via Win. Svc. Pk. 2. I
have tried several times to remove this netspry.com which has
maliciously intruded itself on my system.

Here is the manual removal instructions from netspry:

"Advice from NetSpry: 'To delete our software and change your homepage
back to the website you would like, please do the following: 1. Make
sure all your Internet Explorer windows are closed (you can hit ctrl +
alt and delete to get to the task manager to make sure) 2. Go to
"C:/Program Files/Homepage" and Delete the entire folder. 3. Open up
Internet Explorer and go to Tools then Internet Options and set your
homepage there. 4. If the problem persists, please email
help@netspry.com'"

Thank you for your question!

Neither suggestion works, i,e,, C:/Program Files/Homepage could not be
found via "Run" or "Search" using "Start." Request via e-mail to
"help@netspry.com" failed. What other means should I explore. I have
tried contacting netspry.com in the recent past without success. It
appears as if it is cemented into my system. Looks like others have a
similar problem.

Thank you

Do you have Pest Patrol? It claims to automatically remove NetSpry.
This link also gives detailed manual removal instructions. I would
try the manual removal, reboot and see if it has gone.

Good luck!

P.S. Net-Integratoin.net is a very good site with Malware Removal
Forums. Their expert volunteers will guide you through removing most
viruses and malware from your computer. Due to the amount of infected
computers, it sometimes takes a few days for them to get started with
you, but it is a great site to read and learn and post your logs if
your troubles persist!

Hi, thanks for posting on Google.

I would suggest using HouseCall; it's on their list of removeable
trojans, you dont have to install anything.

Hope this helps.
