Basically, we want to buy empty SPAM cans (SPAM is made by Hormel I
think). Best case would be a sealed SPAM can with nothing in it. We
want to buy them in bulk...

Hi alexmuse-ga,
Based on what I found, Silgan makes these style of cans...

Silgan's perseverance in the Spam revitalization project as well as
other Hormel Foods initiatives has been rewarded. In 1993, Silgan was
granted the first Hormel Foods' "Spirit of Excellence" award for
outstanding service in these five categories. In 2003, Silgan
celebrated its 10th consecutive year of winning the excellence award.

Silgan Containers is the only North American food can manufacturer
to earn "Can of the Year" honors twice since the award's inception in
1996. Silgan received the 1999 award for its rejuvenation of the
classic Spam can for Hormel Foods.

Talked to these folks and they do not sell the SPAM cans. Any other ideas?

We want to buy empty SPAM cans without the label - i.e. brand new
cans, sealed, that are empty. Whoever makes them for Hormel might be
a good contact. I contacted Silgan and they indicated they did not
make the cans for Hormel. I read the two press releases to the
contact at Silgan and they indicated that I must be wrong.

Hi alexmuse-ga,

Based on my additional findings,
I found that Crown Holdings in addition to Silgan Containers from a
1999 article makes SPAM Cans:

I have to admit that it's been a while since I have eaten SPAM, but
it's possible Hormel has switched to a different kind of packaging as
I have just read from their Food Packaging guide:
[URL: http://www.hormel.com/templates/knowledge/knowledge.asp?catitemid=4&id=270]

Other than that, I haven't found much regarding bulk sales of Emtpy
Unlabeled SPAM Cans.

I have also tried searching for Art Pieces that include Unlabeled SPAM
Cans but could not find anything.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Are you actually looking for empty cans with the SPAM labels on them
or just that style of can?

Looking for the same style and size can - we do not want labels on them.
