Yes, this is another Outwit the West question that is plastered
everywhere anyways, so I figure why not. Here's the question:

"There is a hole out west that just might be big enough to hold 2
million astronauts, but only a few of them had to take it on before
they took off. WHAT and WHERE is it and what does it have to do with
those few?"

I was thinking Meteor-Barringer Crater, but I have only found
references that 20 football games could be going on at the same time
with MORE than 2 million people on the inside SLOPES. This to me, is
not enough proof that this is the correct place. And I could not find
anything official stating why the few that took it on had to stop.
Please, if you can find something SPECIFIC and official if possible,
it would be greatly appreciated. I have spent a lot of time trying to
find the answer, but am obviously not that great of a researcher. I'm
sure you guys are. Thanks!

Yes, I have seen the other activity on this question, but it doesn't
lead my anywhere. Maybe it's not a crater at all?

It's not an exact match, but this personal account of Meteor Crater
does match the 2 million people idea:

"The crater is huge. The appearance is deceptive, even when you are
there, because the hole is generally symmetric, unlike natural
features that usually give you clues to scale. The hole is 4000 feet
across and 700 feet deep. In the second image, I have drawn a red
rectangle that encloses a 6' tall cardboard astronaut and a 5'-by-3'
US flag. (NASA trained astronauts here to recognize geologic features
in preparation for recovering rocks from the moon.) Two million people
could be seated around the crater."
